Back Up ISO Files!

Well after my poor Armored Core: Project Phantasma disc got a nasty scratch I wanted to make back ups on my system of all the games I own for the PS1.
Now my first game I tried this on was Final Fantasy 9 so I used Alcohol 120% and turned the discs into ISO files. (saw it when I did a google search on it)
Problem is I was trying it on PS1 emulator and the sound sounded off to me but I thought maybe it was the emulator...well I toyed with the sound options but the sound was still there. So I kept playing and soon a annoying high pitch sound took over and it wont stop. So I tried a 2nd emu with the same result.

Did I perhaps do somthing wrong? Not a good software choice for ISO file? Perhaps some form of copy-right I need to take off the game that stops other ppl from "stealing" the game?

Btw the games I really wish to back up are.

Legend of Mana
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy IX
Armored Core: Project Phantasma (just won a new copy on ebay ^-^)
Armored Core
Star Ocean The Second Story
Suikoden
Suikoden II
Breath of Fire III
Breath of Fire V
Chrono Cross
The Legend of Dragoon

List goes on but those are the ones I really wish to save.

Any help would be great thanks. I would just hate to loose these games!
