Backed up firefox bookmarks, trying to import = unsupported file type

Okay, I backed up mine and my parent's firefox bookmarks. I left the default names and saved them seperately. Whenever i try to import them i get an unsupported file type error. both files were created with the same version of firefox. why is this happening!!? I NEED my bookmarks! I have so many i can't remember all of them!

Alright, fixed it! Turns out that firefox just creates a "file" with no extension. All i had to do was rename the the file with the .json extension, with some setting enabled in folder options so i could change the file type.
