Backing Up Games

Ok I recently purchased Counter Strike Source from Steam...How do i back up the setup files or something to a CD or my computer so i can install it on my computer at work as well? I dont want to redownload it...that takes too long...I downloaded it on this computer but I cant locate teh setup files....are they in my steam account? I want to burn it on a cd or dvd as data..thanks

There is an option in steam to create an exe backup copy of the game. look in the options. Right click on the game from the menu.

If the files were downloaded complete to one directory you could write them to disk if those were the installation files. Usually the backups are for the present installation already in use. The downloads may or may not work for that reason as well.
