What is the best way to back up all my songs on itunes. I may reformat my computer so I need to do this. I heard you can have problems putting all the info back from the DVD or whatever back into i-tunes. That itunes doesnt like it or something. Is this true? Also if I have all my music on a DVD or two I guess I can sell my CD collection, right?

I don't use Itunes but I know it hides the files in oddly named folders and file names. The fair play protection only allows you to burn a certain number of times and i don't know how it will handle removing them from their root location.

No! You only LEAGALLY have rights the digital version of your music because you own the original. Technically speaking if you get rid of the original disc you should get rid of duplicates as well.

This should be in General Software.
