Hi ive recently purchased a few DVD's from amazon which are on dual layer discs like most films nowadays. The issue is one of the DVDs is a oldish film but it cost me like £25 which is about $50. Now i dont want to take the risk of screwing it up so i want to back it up to DVD-R DL or split it onto 2 DVD-Rs.
Ive actually just spent about 2hours or so trying this but it hasn't worked. I copied the DVD files (vob etc) to my hard drive then burnt them to a DVD DL disc but when i try to play it back its all macrovision ish :S So then after thinking the first time was just a bad disc i tried again and now got 2 coasters :|. So then used 2 DVD-R discs with the same thing, macrovision. I dont know know how macrovision is on :S i split the move into 2 parts using DVDShrink. The adverts at the start of the movie play fine, just when the movie starts the picture messes up. Is there anything i can do ?
