I have a Dell XPS I bought in 2006 that I need to backup on a regular basis to an external hard drive. I've just started looking at reviews and so far have looked at Seagate Freeagent Go. My first question is, would you recommend this brand or something else? Second, should I purchase the 250, 320, or 500 GB drive (1.00 GB of RAM)? Last, I've looked at Acronis True Image Home 2011 to use in conjunction with the HD, but again I'm not sure if this would be my best choice (Can I use the XP backup utility to the external HD instead?). I'm just looking for a simple and reliable way to backup this older computer and keep the purchase price reasonable. With that in mind, what would you recommend?
