I used convert.exe to convert the file system, but at the middle of the proccess it restarted, and now it shows the blue screen, i cannot even enter in safe mode, and it says it has no partition even thoe when it starts it gets to the XP logo, any idea on how to recover my data or fix it?????

I would put the drive into another machine that has windows on it, with NSFS. Then you can use an NTFS file recovery tool to try to grab the information off the drive... there's not a guarantee that this will work, but any time you try to convert a file system, you run this risk.... sorry :(

If you already have a second hard drive you can use Linux! heh? Knoppix is one of the easiest Live for cd/dvd distros that will readily access all types of partitions for data and file recovery. That includes NTFS, VFat 12, and Fat16, 32. That's a self contained OS on a disk. You simply boot from the cd and the hard drives installed on the system appear as desktop icons.

The other option when you have two drives onhand is a data recovery tool. Some are freewares like the large of them seen at http://www.download5000.com/Search.aspx?q=data%20recovery,data%20recovery%20software,undelete&strType=AND

To look into Knoppix to have onhand for these dilemnas go to http://www.knopper.net/knoppix-info/index-en.html To create a Knoppix cd you simply need a cd writer or dvd burner to burn the 600mb iso image onto disk. With a little practice you will be able to pull data off of any partition with ease.

The problem you had was trying to convert a partition from Fat to NTFS while you had Windows running on the same one. If you were in Windows on another partition or drive you would simply use the Disk Management tool for the conversion there.
