Bad CPU temp reading

For some reason today my CPU temp has decided to go screw itself up on me.
It was working fine every since I got it, last night it was showing about 25*C on idle and 46*C @ 100% (with Everest's stability test).
When I first looked it was showing at -128*C. I checked the Bios and it said it was running at -10*C. Turned it back on and now everest is saying -20*C. Obviously these readings are incorrect. Also, my motherboard is about 10*C hotter than it normally is.
I just want to get this fixed, so any help will be appreciated. All my hardware is in my sig.

Strange... I turned my computer off for 30 minutes. Turned it back on, bios displayed 37*C. Loaded into windows started up everest and it's showing 27-29*C. These are the temps I have normally been getting.
Could it have fixed itself? Seems too good to be true...

When in doubt, reboot? Might have been a glitch somewhere along the line that was fixed by a power cycle? Who knows? Just be happy its gone and pray it stays that way :P

Yes, i could have fixed itself. Sometimes programs like that give strange errors that go away after a few Power-up cycles. SpeedFan is notorious for that with certain setups, also. After a while though, things appear kosher.
