Bad RAM timings?

Okay I recently altered my computer.
My new setup is:
ASUS P5N-E SLI motherboard
E6600 Core 2 Duo
2 Gigs of Corsair DDR2 800 (5-5-5-18)
eVGA 8800 GTS 640mb

My problem is it is constantly locking up or blue screening while playing games. The RAM is supposed to be "optimized for SLI" I no longer have an SLI setup, so would those timing now be problematic? If not, can you think of any other possibilities, Ive already tried drivers for video card etc.

Games that are crashing are BF2, BF2142, Oblivion, CS, Gmodd...basically anything

run memtest first to check for bad ram they offer lifetime warranty. if good then:

set timing 4-4-4-12 2.1volts 800mhz

Thnx for the help guys. The RAM was just bad, I ran memtest. First came up failing out the ass, so I ran it one stick at a time. One was fine. Two of them failed right from the beginning. The last one, started out fine, but after about 20minutes of memtest, it failed...miserably.

I'm ordering new RAM.

The way this all came about was UPS basically destroyed my computer when I was transporting it from California to New York. Ive had to replace almost everything...kinda ticked at UPS for it.
