Has anyone ever installed BartPE on a hard drive as the main OS? I thought about trying this on one of my "new" old computers, but it wouldn't work. I beleive the problem was with the hard drive partition. I'm going to try again this weekend, but just wondering if anyone else has had luck or no luck...
My room mate has this little Toshiba Libretto(Tiny little thing!) that he wanted to upgrade from 98 to something else. However the specs aren't that great(P266MHz, 64MB RAM, 2.5GB HD) I got the program he wanted to work on another laptop very similar to his under BartPE. Unfortunately, it was running off a CD, and not the HD...(the particular laptop I used didn't even have an HD

Oh, and if anyone looks up the specs on the Lebretto, he has upgraded it. The processor is overclocked, more RAM, and a new HD.

He has one app(for his car) he wants to run and BartPE can run it. Simple as that.
