Battlefield 2 Digital Problem

My computer stats are in my signature. Whenever I try and use my monitor on digital instead of analog, Battlefield 2 never starts up. I can use analog, but I really want to know why using digital doesn't work with this game.

I've tried EA support, but they were no help. I was wondering if anyone here could help me solve this mystery?

try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for the graphics card and see if they have updated drivers for your graphics card.

if it starts in analog then whats the problem? either way, try uninstalling and reinstalling graphics drivers, the game, and even try changing some settings in direct x.
go to run and click in "dxdiag" it will diagnose any problems with direct x

I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but when I run dxdiag I get a window that says:

"Data Execution Prevention"
"To help protect your computer, Windows has closed this program."

Then I get the option to send an error report.

Then when I start up dxdiag again, a directx window comes up saying:

"DxDiag has detected that there may have been a problem accessing DirectShow the last time this program was used. Would you like to bypass DirectShow this time?"

If I click No, I get the same error, if I click Yes everything is fine.

So does anyone know what's up???

i have no clue! lol thats really weird man... if i were you id back everything up and reformat. however, people dont like doing that so try reinstalling "directX 9.0c"
should come with windows but im sure you can find a download on microsoft.com or something.
