Hey Everyone,
I'm totally unskilled in computers, and I just found this forum for the purpose of asking this question.
I bought a new copy of Battlefield 2 for the PC, and when I try to install it, the first disc installs fine, but after it tells me to insert disc 2, it recognizes the disc, but just doesnt continue. I get no error message and the computer is not frozen. I tried pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE, and it doesnt say the program is "not responding".
I have tried the installation with all unnecessary background tasks shut off, virus scanners off and no other programs running.
The minimum graphics card is ATI radeon 8500, and I have an ATI radeon X300, I dont know if thats good enough or not, but it should be able to install anyway, and I run the game demo fine. I meet all the other requirements for sure.
If anyone can help me out with this I would really appreciate it.
I tried EA technical support, and got a message that even though it was within office hours, there was no one there.
Thanks in advance,
Matt
