Well, you have a quick processor but I would advise at least another 512 in RAM as well as a much better vid card to acheive highest settings. Also, what speed is your RAM? Also, in stating the obvious, you have to make sure you have as little processes as possible running in the background.

k i am going to get more memory but should i get dell memory or what kind of memory should i get

also what kind of a 256 mb video card should i get

1. you prob shouldnt get dell memory, my friend got it cuz his dad is a warrenty freak and didnt want to ruin the warrenty by using other types of ram and it ended up costing more for a not as good company. In my opinion Corsair is the best brand and Ultra is second best in memory. Ive bought both brands and am verry happy with them.
2. to know what kind of video card i cant answer fully, tell us weather your system uses AGP or PCI-E. I found out in my dell manual on my dell. Also do you have a prefrence on nvidia or ATI? Personaly Ive stuck with nvida and been happy but thats up to You. My video card is lised below on my specs and i only got it for 70 bucks USD and it runs awsome, i play half life 2, halo and BFV and they are 100x better in graphics than my older 128 mb card. Also if you have a choice and 512 mb or more of memmory, try looking into a turbocache video card. They are cheaper than most video cards with built in memmory, but just barrow ram from your memmory chips. Hope this helps :P

i have a pci-e video card in there right now and it might have a agp slot

but does pci-e have better graphics than agp cards and which one is better

i like both ati and nvidia video cards and i am looking to spend around $200 on a video card

thanks for your help so far

if you already have a pcie card in there then chances are you dont have an agp slot. u will not get better graphics maybe a little faster than agp but i doubt you will see the difference. the 6800gt goes over 200 but will get u the highest setting on BF2.

Pickup an nvidia geforce 6600GT. I think they are around $150. Make sure you get a PCI-E card though. Also, I highly doubt your board has both PCI-E and AGP.
