Battlefield 3 specs

That site doesnt take into account the performance of series lower than the recommended. so you could have the 5970 and it still would say you cant play it at recommended.
 
No worries, did you try the beta? and caspian border?

Just wondering as that was a good test of what settings you could potentially get with your set up.

Thats not to say that they are the final visuals as from my understanding a lot was disabled but there was enough to get a rough idea.
 
It does recommend a 6950 or a 560 for ultra settings, so it may lag a tiny bit, but not anything to worry about.
 
you dont have to have a Direct x 11 card I dont think.... I just bought a new card so I could play with a better framerate but im pretty sure my gtx 260 would of ran the game moderately
 
^^^ Salvage is right, the only problems that will arise would be if he had a dx9 card as bf3 is dx10/11 only

Im not to upto date with the performance of the 5870, but as ATI's previous gen flagship card i presume you will get quite high settings with it.
 
I really hope so, the game looks fantastic, would be a shame to not be able to enjoy the game to the max.
Theres nothing I hate more then laggy and slow computers. Bought Dirt3 a while ago and cranked the graphic settings to max, the game ran like a charm. :o
Well I just have to wait and see.. I'm gonna report back as soon as I have tried the game!!

^^ yeah Im counting down the days too... can't wait... I still think that MW3 will sell 3x more than BF3 and I do not understand that!
