OK i have my adaptor pluged in usb.Its the adaptor for the keyboard and mouse from logitec.Well i decided not to use the software from logitec due to both times i upgraded it locked my computer down and had to do fresh instal..

So my question is why dont i have a bluetooth icon in control panel like when i used the sofware?Dosent win xp have its own stuff.
 
Then I'd say that Windows has some basic drivers that are working with it well enough to make it work. I know that the advanced software for my Logitech MX1000 does some funky things, so I just don't use that either, just like Windows do its thing...
 
I used to have heaps of trouble with my mouse lagging sometimes up to 5 seconds behind my actual movements, but i updated the "set point" software and its working fine now... was an 80 something Mb download, so i think they've updated the whole lot... maybe that might help?
