Well I think it's good files load fast but I am having this problem apperantly It says I am firewalled and this yellow dot comes up in the fourth little dot and it says I am firewalled (ofc). Anyways I could only dowload from non-firewalled people and it takes so long to look up hosts that are non-firewalled.
Also they told me to configure my router to cause my router may also have a firewall so I need help cause it takes days for only 900mb to load thx for your help :)
 
Turn off your firewall. Well I would say get rid of bearshare. Get limewiere, I have Zone Alarm PRO and a firewall on my router and limewire automaticly configures itself so I can use it without shutting off my firewall.

well bearshare downloads big files much betterthan limewire does... but i use limewire anyway... mostly cus bearshare has more bugs... more errors and stuf...

i think i know what the problem is... but it only happens when u use a crack to make the pay version free... eh, cant talk about that here...
 
prolly not his firewall...im guessing he could have figured out to turn off his firewall when it told him he's being firewalled...plus he said "Also they told me to configure my router to cause my router may also have a firewall so I need help"

So yes, Hells3000, its probably your router's "NAT".

If so, open the config page and open the port bear share uses. (Look in the bearshare options to see which port) Open whatever port it says then apply the new settings...close Bearshare and try again.
You could also put your computer in the DMZ. (demilitarized zone) Look for that setting to. Set your computers ip to the dmz if you want to do that (Sumthin like 192.168....)

Only do ONE of those two things though...not both.

Well My router has a firewall and I think that's the one that's causing problems i have a 1701hg gateway 2wire
and is it safe to go with out a firewall no rigth
also i do have zone alarm but that's not the issue it lets it come rigth in the problem is router thx :)

bearshare usually detects if you have a firewall and it will ask if you would like to turn it off for the application idk why its not working, i use it and it works wonders!!
