Been hacked. Have a few questions

So I have been playing the online MMORPG Runescape for the past 5 years. I downloaded an auto clicker for it. (Yes I know it's bad, never happening again).
Anyways I went on Youtube and searched for videos on them. I found one and it had all good comments so I thought it would be alright. I downloaded it on my brothers laptop. I never tried to open it on this laptop. I then put it on a jump drive and put it on an old Dell laptop from like 04 that I play Runescape on. I had the game up and I tried to open the auto clicker. I double clicked it and it didn't open. I tried this a few times. A few minutes later, my game window closed completely. I didn't do anything to close it. I pulled the game back up immediately and within 30 seconds of logging in, the same thing happened. I waited about 20 minutes and then got back on the game and they stole all of my items that had value. The next day it happened again. I then changed my password and started playing on our old desktop. They just got my valuable Runescape items and that was it. I'm pretty sure that's all they are after so I'm not worried about anything else.
I tried scanning the laptop with anti malware bytes and some other search and destroy virus thing. Both scans froze up after about 50 minutes of scanning. They each found about 6 problems but I couldn't look at them because the scans froze and I had to restart the computer. This happened about 4 times. I'm pretty sure they used a RAT.
My questions are... can they hack me again if I'm playing on a different computer?
Would changing my ip address on the laptop that I got hacked on fix the problem?
What are some things I should look for to delete to try and get rid of the virus?
Thanks!

Try running malwarebytes in safe mode. If that don't work then I'll give you another program to try.

I have had family over all day an I just opened up malware bytes and I couldn't figure out how to run a safe scan

You must boot to safe mode on your computer. Restart your system and start pressing F8 to access safe mode options. Choose safe mode with networking. Then run malwarebytes.
