Provide us with details if you want help. E.g., is the prob continuous, intermittent, regards certain programs, did it start after installing something new etc.
 
Im having a problem with my broadband connection, I get the message "local area network 2 a network cable is unplugged".This stops any connection. Dont know if this means anything to you.
 
have you checked th cable is actually plugged in...?? what router do you have.

and this should be posted in the internet discussions forum, not off topic.
 
Try replacing the cable. RJ-45 cables easily break and randomly stop working after a little bit of use.
