I have a Belkin Wireless G Router and i can connect to it wirelessly through my computer but i can't get my internet to work through it. I asked my brother and he said something about needing to pair the router with my modem but i have no idea how to do this?

You need to have your modem connected to the router in order to gain access to the internet. It's very easy to do so, you simply connect one of the ports on your modem to the WAN port on the router using a standard ethernet cable.

I have done that and it still doesn't work unfortunatley. A light flashes in the corner of the router that says "internet".

If it's flashing then there is an issue, meaning it's connected to the modem but can't connect to the network. You may need to manually set the WAN settings on the router.

Log into the router..

type either
//192.168.2.1
//192.168.1.1
//192.168.0.1

into IE or Firefox. Log in and make sure your account info is put into the router..
