BenQ or Asus monitor?

Hello!
I'm a noob in computer building, and I recently finished my rig (for now!). I've got pretty much everything set up and ready, except for the monitor.
As I said, I'm pretty new to all of the techy stuff, so I don't really know what to look for in a decent monitor - to a decent price, seeing as I'm a student.

So I've been looking at these two: BenQ 24" 3D LED XL2411Z and
Asus 24" LED VG248QE. They're just around my price-range. I'm set on at least 1920 x 1080, 144 Hz, 3D ready and not much more than 24".
What do you guys say about these two alternatives? Are they decent? Anything better in the price range?

Thank you

Both are as good, ben q is a good brand getting better and better. Id personally go for the ben q, looks more robust and seems to have a better contrast ratio and better reviews than the Asus. Is the tv for standard usages or do you plan to game with it etc?

I currently run with Intel Core i5 4670K @ 3.4 GHz and a single ASUS GTX770-DC2OC-2GD5 2gb, but my my next step is a new i7 and probably an extra gpu. Either way, I'd like a monitor that can keep up as I upgrade :)

Any reason why you absolutely don't want to go larger than 24". I'm one of those that think of 27" when I think of monitors. To answer your question, you should be OK with either.
