i have trouble staring at crt screens 4 a while, i have the contrast at 50%, and brightness at 100%, thats good at them settings, but full, no way!!

now if im on the C600, can sit in front of it 4 3hrs. straight, are lcd's better 4 the eyes? why can i stare at the lcd screen longer than i can the crt, and not have the screen hurt my eyes?
 
Try 85 Hz but don’t set it any higher then that. You should also consider other things that maybe giving you a headache (like bad lighting or glaring on the screen).
 
What is your refresh rate currently at? Mine is at 85Hz or something; but first when I reformatted; it started at 60Hz, so maybe thats what yours is at...

I have no trouble looking at CRT screens for a while; I'm getting an LCD soon, I ordered it; so it should be here next week... since I switched my refresh rate I don't see the line anymore like I used to sometimes...maybe thats your problem?
