Best Anti-Virus Software

I've always used Norton Anti-Virus and get the newest version every year. It's about time for me to get Norton 2006, but I was wondering if there are any better Anti-Virus programs out there. What do you think is the best?

I think Norton is the best. i have the 2006 version and its the best one ever.

Norton is ok, although it's a bit heavy on resources.

AVG is a very nice alternative, it's also free unlike Norton.

As far as detection rates go, Norton still does good.But it appears that Kaspersky right now has the best rates and would give you the best protection.And if you need to use a free one, Antivir's rates are better than Avast and AVG.

True, but people still ask questions already answered by stickies. For example, take a look at ALL of the 101's that have been created.... the same questions still get asked...
