Best AntiVirus software ever?

Is there a BEST Anti Virus software out there recognized by most? One program where most people will agree is in fact the best etc etc?

Can you list for me the best Free anti-virus program & the best anti-virus program you must purchase? I seem to have an affinity in buying the best. Although, if the best is FREE that would rock too.

So does anyone know which is considered to be the one three three seven of all Anti-Virus programs?

I'd suggest MSE http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/
I currently use MSE and love it, and not especailly because it's free, but because it really works well and doesn't bog/slow down your computer.
Or Avast http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html (Never tried that payed version)

i would say avg or microsoft security essentials 2.0, never buy or pay for an anti-virus no need

There is only one I use, which is the only one I have found really works for me. Awesome thing about it, is that it is free, hah. It is called Avast!. I believe there is a Premium version of it, but the Home edition works perfectly fine for me. Only thing you have to do, is I believe about every 6 months or so, you have to re-register it, but, that is nothing compared to how good the program is for free.

So yeah, Google Avast and I'm sure you'll find it pretty easily.

i use avira antivirus premium.. and kaspersky... also malwarebyte anti-malware it also can.. try it.. just download from internet..
