best antivirus?

Hey guys, i keep getting alot of viruses, and I know it might be because i'm using a hub instead of a router, dont worry i;m working on getting a router, but can you guys let me know what you think is the best anti-virus program, because I need the best of the best.

well theres not really one antivirus that will take care of everything, but a combination is good, but a hassle... same with antispyware. i use AVG, and havent had any problems at all, any viruses are detected straight away, and 'heal'ed. i used to have Norton AV, but it couldnt get rid of 2 trojans. i uninstalled it,downloaded AVG and on my first scan it found 20 viruses!! 18 more than norton. i removed them all, and along with A-Squared (trojan remover program) i could et rid of those trojans. so for free program i recomend AVG, but if u can aford to pay, use PC-Cillian, very good!

I tend to agree, I run Symantec AV corporate at work, yet if I ran a McAfee CMD scan and found various trojans, eventhough all machines are scanned nightly with Symantec. Also, I tell people on this forum to run 2 online scans (trendmicro and panda), and many times one picks up what the other won't.

My final advise on the subect: have a full av product (KAV or Nod32, [my suggestions]), and run an online scan every once in a while as a double check. Here are some links below:
