I just started school for architecture and was wondering what laptop is best.
I am going to be using programs like ArchiCAD, AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3d Studio max, and some other things.
I have heard Asus is good, but I am not too sure what is best.
I don't have tons of money, but I can spend around 700.

Thanks

Since you are running 3d max, I guess you may need one with delicated graphic card.
ASUS A52F-X3 only have integrated graphic card.

The Acer Aspire AS5742G-7200 in the above post at New Egg dropped from $750 to $700 today! The specs are great for the price but no reviews.
