Best ATI drivers?

Hey guys,

I have owned an ATI some 4 years ago (Rage 2000) and am not familiar with ATI drivers. I know there are Catalyst drivers (6.3 newest) but my friend also heard about Omega ATI drivers and so on. What are the best drivers that he could use? He has an X1600XT.

i use the omega drivers cause they catalyst dont work for me and they seem to work well. but try each one and see which one your friend likes best and see which one you get more performance out of.

I prefer ATI's Catalyst 6.3 drivers, however they dont work with my current card so i use Omega 6.2 Drivers. They work fine, they allow alot more tweaking and overclocking than ATI's catalyst control center.
