Best burning software

Hi guys, I would like to know which is the best burning software out there.
I have tried many:
Nero 6, Nero 8
Ashampoo
Roxio 7.5
ImgBurn
DVD Decrypter
Power Iso
Magic Iso

I would have to say that Nero is the one I liked the most, but then again I'm not an experienced user. For you, which would be the best software? (doesn't have to be one of the listed softwares).

Hands down barred none. Nero is the most universal....
i also use iso commander. its the same as the above.
no diffirent. just the display i like. theres other software
but depends on what your burning.
 
That's the key point there what type of disk burning is involved. For data disks like data dvds and live Linux distros, GParted live for cd the free version of BurnOn has been one of the free programs as well as Deep Burner for that. BurnOn is found at http://www.burnworld.com/burnoncddvd/

Deep Burn along with DeepDVD and DeepRipper at http://www.deepburner.com/?r=download

For video disk NeoDVD has worked quite well. That is a strictly retail product seen at http://www.mediostream.com/products/index_neodvd.html I still haven't bought the latest version for Vista quite yet while the 6 version worked excellently for vcds as well as dvd projects in XP.
 
like google nero is all you need

but i'm not sure if they resolved the dual layer dvd movie issue
 
Kk, I'll try those out. Apparently it could be my optical drive which has problems. I tried burning in my other pc and it seems to be working better. Perhaps I need a new Optical Drive. I'll be using those softwares out also.

For some reason the rws never seem to work out here for the simple drag and drop. I currently have some dvd-rws that can't be copied to or read from while in a dvd burner. Yet I always see good results with cd-rs and dvd-rs for permanent burns except for the expected frisbie you see once in awhile.

Can I toss you some Sony blank dvd-rws? I going to toss them somewhere soon! :P
