...best buys for now...

Hey guys, so my mom obtained her reward zone points and she told me to buy a computer now at best buys instead of waiting until June.... It's just i'm a newegg person, but i still have to stick to best buys because that's where she wants to buy it.

So after going through various stress in these crappy retail specs of desktop pc's in best buys, I found something decent

or

I gotta work with what i have, but i just can't stand the graphics cards in each of these 520 gtx is q_q, and Radeon HD 7450 is meh. I was thinking about getting the asus, and adding a gtx 560ti, while upgrading the power supply's wattage because I know 350 watts can't support this >.> so that will include an extra 50-60 dollars... lol

850$+260$+60$=1170$ kinda goes higher than what my mother can offer 900 dollars only from best buys with all her special discounts. This must be why I am stressed ): I want to buy something way better and cheaper somewhere else, but my mom will deny it. Would be nice if y'all can reply before tomorrow since That's when the sale starts/when my mom has to buy it.

I got to work with what I have, maybe you can help me decide a good factory build and extra 2012 technology components from best buys.

They have a Cyberpower w/2500k and 6850 for $949. Stopped looking after that.
What could you spend w/o discounts? (you build)
How do the discounts work? Could you buy most components somewhere else and use the BB discount on the rest?

Well I just talked with my mom, and maybe I can get the graphics card and power supply at neweggs while getting the computer basically the discount is like points and how much points equal how much goes to your reward zone. My mom has like 200 dollars on her reward zone, so she can buy the computer and I she can buy the nessesary upgrades at neweggs, but what graphics card and power supply is compadible/replaceable with this computer.

-Can you use the rewards to get 1 or 2 of the components from BB? And get all other components from somewhere like Newegg, and assemble the pc yourself?
-Assembly is easy and the forum is here to spec the pc, and help with building it which you can do in an afternoon. NE has outstanding customer service and the best pricing. Instead of relying on BB's waranty practices, you'd be getting 1-5 yr warranties per component.
-This scenario provides the highest quality for each part, allows customization of the parts chosen for the pc's use, and costs the same or maybe less than buying prebuilt. Esp by the time your buy one built, only to change the parts.
-Something else you get from building yourself - experience and satisfaction. Something you don't get with a custom build - bloatware!
-I think you'll find that whatever rewards may be gained from the purchase price of the prebuilt, will be outwieghed by the rewards of one you build yourself. Perhaps even the net cost.

If 200 @ BB and 5-600 @ NE could be an option, we can list the components for that budget/use. If it's not an option, then we will see what we can do with your parameters.

Quick example:

The exact same one. $20 less + $20 rebate + no shipping fees + possibly no tax(depending on where you live) Saves $40-$50 or more.

WOAH! Thanks for the good advice I was kinda thinking about asking my mom to buy the prebuilt, while I can use the 200 dollars I saved up to buy the graphics card. But my only problem now is that I do not know the power supply wattage on the prebuild, so i was hoping to ask if i should get a better power supply, I just don't know how high it's suppose to exceed. All I can say is thank you for the advice, I have to wait until Wednesday get all the materials set, and I have to wait more days for the gtx 560ti :3...

Oh i have another question. I might have a quick extra bucks, by wednesday, and i want to ask what's the difference between the the models, 560ti/560ti - 448core/570, i was just searching newegg and the pricings seem to be kinda weird 0_o

Edit: Mistaken newgrounds to newegg
