Best Card For $00>$55

im looking for the best gaming card that will work wayyyy better than my current GeForce FX 5200. i play games like sims 2, civilization 4,(which is horrific on my FX) Myst, Axis&Allies, 007 Nightfire, and most of my other games are about that level. HELP?????!!!!!?????!!!!! :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek:

What's wrong with the gpu in your sig..........or is that a different pc?
 
it should do. on my other computer i can run the sims 2 ok at 1024 x 768 with a 5 (or maybe more) year old radeon 9200 so a newer card should easily be able to cope
 
The X700 Pro will definately handle all those games you mentioned at max settings. I play Sims 2 at maxed settings and max resolution, and it still plays smooth as butter.
 
how bout other higher demanding games will it be decent as in like not choppy or pauses like the graphics dont have to be crazy or aything...
 
I play Oblivion, Call of Duty 2, FEAR, Condemned, Dark Messiah and flatout 2 and it runs them all perfectly fine.
 
I'm sure you'll be happy with it. I used to have the BF2 demo, and I'm pretty sure I was running it on high settings. COH (It's a source game, right?) should run on high.

hmm my guess is if you splurge and get an x800GTO instead you will be very happy. that card allows me to play even age of empires on max settings and still get 30-35 FPS. i believe the x700 would not perform so admirably
