best cards under $200

I am looking to build a new computer and i was wondering what the best one for under $200 usd is and under $150 is. I'd prefer something 128mb or more. I am looking to use AMD for a processor ( i think that is what my friend siad it was) so I dunno what one would work best with that or what not.

uhh well for under $200 a radeon x800 or a nvidia 6800, but... if u could stretch it to 250, u could get a radeon 850 pro for $250 :)
 
Video Card

Get the X700 Pro 256mb PCI express, very good graphics cards for its price... around $250AU, so it will prob $160US im guessing

Yup, I got an X700 and it works great! Doom 3 on high graphics, BF2 cranked all the way!!
 
ok thanks guys! sounds like the x700 pro , that extra $90 (if i stretched to $250) could defenately go a long way :)
