Best/Cheapest video card for counter-strike 1.6?

Hey Guys!

Just wondering what your take would be on a video card i need. It's for my compaq desktop, and the only real game i'll be playing on it is counter-strike 1.6 (half-life).

I'd like it to have constant 100 fps, but would also love it to be the cheapest as possible! pci would be best, but agp will work as well (agp slot is compact for this particular desktop, so i'd have to leave the case open if the agp card was standard size!)

Thanks guys!

Phillip

Here's a PCI card, this is waaaay more than you need, but this card should probably run the game at a constant 100fps with some console commands.

After you install your new card that you bought, open up the console in CS 1.6(press the ~ key) and type in these 2 commands,

developer 1
fps_max 1000

I doubt that you will reach 1000fps, but this will eliminate the chances of fps limitation.

To see how much fps you are getting, in the console, type in,
net_graph 3

integrated videocards are the cheapest videocard that will play CS 1.6
it only requires a 16MB VC

surely he wants to play it in good framerate resolution e.t.c 16mb is not enough!!! maybe you could get a cheap 64mb card that would run it fine. you might as well. or if you want to play a few other newer games like source and stuff go for a 6600.
