After researching the fastest\best self assembled computer I can come up with is this..

Video card:
Diamond's 2GB VFX 2000 Series Pro Graphics Card (not on market yet)

Processor:
Intel Quad-Core QX9650 3.0ghz processor

Memory:
Kingston ( KTM-P630/32G ) memory (32gb)

Motherboard:
Abit IN9 32X-MAX Socket 775 ATX Motherboard LGA 775 Motherboard
(I guess that the processor, memory, nd video card work on it)

Hard disk:
Deskstar 7K1000 Hitachi (1tb or 1024gb) (not on market yet)

some parts didnt come out yet but they will be out around spring..

I need the best configuration for a research.. So if anyone can add something to it or correct it, please do..

2GB GFX? Now that's crap. 1GB hasn't come out yet, 1GB can't even be fully used yet. I seriously doubt that card will be any better than a Ultra or 9800.

32GB will get you nowhere. 4GB can't even be fully used. If you're not a CADD user, 32GB is over(x10)kill.

The motherboard... Let's just say every ABIT motherboard has one problem. Me having one, with a problem.

Deskstar is commonly known as the Deathstar.
