what would be the best way to cool my whole computer, or at least the cpu and mabey the videocard, i was thinking of building my next computer inside a freezer but untill then, what would work the best, i currently have the stock amd heatsink on my cpu, and the ati version of videocard heatsink, i currently get 35c doing nothing but playing music, 47c on a prime95 stress test, i just checked this, doesnt seem warm enough, it used to run hotter.... nvm, i cant spend over $200 btw.... im thinking watercooling but what do you guys reccomend?

Just upgrade the stock heatsink and fan to something else (eg. copper) and get some new thermal grease/compound. It will only cost you anywhere from $20-$60(average)

Water Cooling or Phase Change :)

you cannot put a limit on how much you can spend if you want the best, so it would be the " best you budget can buy " :)

BEST budget cooling i've seen is a high CFM fan on a large copper cooler, and each month you pay a bit extra to keep the AC lower. just don't sleep in that room:)

why not the methods employed over at toms hardware guide. Liquid Nitrgen
Cuz N2(l) is 'slightly' difficult to integrate as a long term cooling solution.

not nitrogen, its so impractical, go water for sure
Or just plain silly. Phase change is far more effective

the liquid nitrogen was emant as a joke, or at least I meant it as a joke
Riiiiight ;)

it was, thats why i put it after the water cooling suggestion. plus it would be difficult to get hold of the liquid nitrogen, and even harder/costly to keep it as a cooling method
