Best coolpad for my laptop?

Anyone know how to find out which way the air is released? I can't feel the air and can't tell... Also, what would be the best cooling pad for a laptop that blows air from the top and one that blows it towards the bottom?

Also has anyone herd of portabook? I see it around t.v, if anyones had any experience with them please let us know on your input/feedback.

You should see some grill meshes at either the sides or the back, and that's where the hot air exhausts. It'll never be in the front. There's no way you won't be able to feel the hot air unless you laptop does not produce any heat, which is impossible. Even the very energy efficient atom N270 puts out a little bit of heat and you can slightly feel it. Just do something demanding for your computer and when it heats up, you'll feel it.

A laptop cooler blows air right into the bottom of the laptop because obviously you can't have a small enough cooler to put around the whole laptop. But as far as exhaust, it can only come from the sides or the back. Pretty much all cooling pads are the same, more or less.
