im currently building a rig and im looking into eventually overclocking which cpu fan would be the best to keep it cool
ive got the rampage formula mobo i believe its socket775

Thermaltake 120 and Zalman CNPS9700 are two really popular and effective ones, but I don't think anyone can really say for sure which is best. It probably varies from setup to setup.

really depends on your cpu..
if you're running a dual core you can easily get away with an AC Freezer 7 Pro, some quads too... otherwise the two aforementioned are good (as is the CNPS9500)

Water Cooling

If you really do want to overclock your CPU to its Highest I would recomend water cooling.
To get water cooling can cost alot of money allthough.

So if you have the money I would go for water cooling.

well i dont know how much im going to oc it ive got the antec 1200 case so ive got the 3 120mm front intake fans, a 120 mm fan behind the hd, a 120 mm side case fan, 200 mm top exhaust fan, 2 120 mm rear exhaust fans, plus ive got heatsinks and the opt fans all over the mobo pulling air from the cpu and ram towards the back i dont really trust watercooling i heard if you have a real good airflow its just as good as any watercooling kit

best way to cool your pc

Option one . Water Cool
Option two . Big strong industrail fan
Option Three . Move to the artic

there sorted no need to thank me
