i have the phenom 9600 in the Asus M3A78 Pro Mobo. my heat sink i got now is stock form old mobo. so its not doing best . used to idle at 19c but 28 is lowest itll go now on the new Mobo.

if i change multiplier to 11 i get a steady 37-38c idle. im using artic silver ceramique. i can change to AS5 but not sure if itll change temps any better.

So any one help out on a better CPU HS/Fan. im wanting 120 mm fan or 92 thats easily changeable encase fan was to die. i want one that's high CFM. im running one that's 34cfm and i don't like it. i want 70cfm+. i been looking and just cant fine a good one.

how big is it in the case.my case Dimensions are this. inside measurements. 18.5 front to back.13.25 from bottom psu to case floor and 7" form mobo to side case. will that HS fit this case

i jsut cant wait to get it on monday. i rushed it to be here asap. then i can put my vcore back to the stock 1.26.

HS i got now cant cool it down on 1.26vcore lol. this one will with the 86CFM

its not the best performing cooler, but it sure is pretty! i wouldnt do too much overclocking if i were you.

not sure where you came up with it not being a good HS. my buddy has it on his i7(oc 4.05Ghz) and its Idle at 21c load 38 using prime 95. thats enough to say its a great heat sink. at 86CFM thats plenty to cool the cpu down

Zero

is the install simple just using the clamp on the original bracket on mobo and then snap down with lever. seems simple on it.

my fingers are cut already form rebuilding my system last night with new case and MOBO

well its so big and hard to get the clamp sitting right i would clip the top mount clip 1st ,then kinda slide the cooler in there, then bottom clip( just dont lay the cooler then try hooking clips way harder that way) i know and my cut up hands know

yeah that HS looks pretty mad, should b gd. I have the copper V1, i wonder which 1 is better, im guessin the SpinQ bein newer and more exspensive. I wish i knew how gd my V1 was doin but i have 1 of them e8400 which dont tell the right temp. On thermaltake website i only c a aluminum SpinQ, personally i would wait 4 a full copper version, but im bettin that would b considerably more exspensive.
