Best cpu type for laptops

What (as a rule of thumb) is the best cpu type (price vs performance) for laptops?

AMD Turion 64
AMD Turion 64 X2
Intel Core 2 Duo
Intel Core Duo
Intel Core Solo
Intel Pentium Dual Core

I think these are the only ones...if theres anymore, let me know.

performance = core 2 duo

there are desktop processors made for laptops.

the same kind used on desktops the core 2 duos and core 2 extreme

also there the core 2 x7800

Okay because I was under the impression that the Athlon was the best (which I forgot list in the....list)
