What size do you want? You could get a pretty nice 17" for 250. I dont know any off the top of my head, but ViewSonic is a pretty good brand. And I have a philips that is really nice.

i have a dell 19" for $280. it's a little higher than your price, but it is pretty sweet. usb hub right on the side too.
