yeah i think you better to go with the GX2 (when prices drop), more futere headroom (you can SLI later), its a better performer anyway, but youll need a better PSU...

So yeah GX2, if not 9800 GTX in SLI

Well I currently have 2 8000 ultras in sli, was thinking of going 9 series but they dont seem anything special.

My PSU is a Tagan BZ 1300W

You already have 8800ultras in SLI? lol, the 9800gtx aren't better than your ultra's. Maybe a fraction of a percent.

They're basically tweaked g92 arch. Nothing special indeed.

If you have two ultras already, then hold on to them for just abit longer. The new cards are not that much of an improvement over the previous generation's high end cards. Wait for a new core to come out before you upgrade, most of the new ones seem to be based on the G92 chip.
