Best form of Back-up

i'm doing audio recording. my harddrive recently became corrupt, and i had to do a complete reformat only to find that the registry is all outta whack, and some programs won't work after reinstallation. i'm gonna get a new hd and reload windows and all the other programs.
my question is: what is my best bet on backing up all my .wav files with the least risk of losing them to another crash? i can't simply burn them to cd-r because i'm recording @ 32bit and 96k, and a cd can only accept 16/44(this dithering process is the last step before burning). my plan was to get an external drive for that, but i'm sure that there is a chance for the same thing happening again, and i can't afford to lose files.

thanks

you could investigate a form of off-site online backup. Basically you upload all of your files to a remopte server and it stays there until you need it back again. Have a llok round but i think it can be quite pricey

You could consider buying a removable HDD and make the back up from there or if you have DVD writer, back the files up to a DVD Rewritable Disc.

Look into this online backup service.

It is fast and has the ability to perform incremental backups using advanced backup technologies that greatly reduce your bandwidth by transferring only the file portions that have been modified/ changed. You can retrieve your older versions of the same files by the versioning feature.
