Best free VPN software?

I wanna find free VPN software. I seen a lot of it. But I don't know which is the best one.

Openvpn is a pretty mature product. You can even roll it with your own certificates for auth.

I plan on running VM with windows 10 and set up a scene download a program where I think I got the RAT and record the person trying to use it. I wanna use a VPN as just security.

you can try this tunnelbear or windscribe or openvpn.
But I recommend not to use free vpn services rest is your choice

Almost all decent VPN solutions are paid services. You can setup your own OpenVPN server for free, but that doesn't help if you don't want people to be able to trace it back to you.
