Best Game plot or storyline?

BioShock is a good one such a good story if it was made into a film such a well designed location and idea.
 
My picks:

Grim Fandango (excellent)
All Final Fantasy Titles (Especially VII)
BioShock (from what i've played so far)
F.E.A.R
Half Life 2
Call of Cthulu, Dark Corners of the Earth
Silent Hill 4 (although the gameplay is horrible)
Knight of the Old Republic

The Thief Series <--- Love these
 
okay im glad this is still going... I agree with some... but FEAR? please .. that game was so overated... I played bioshock and beat it but i harvested way too many girls and i got the bad ending... starting over and rescueing everyone.. its much harder to get adam

YES! dreamfall the longest journey I loved, i dont give a about the gameplay

I've never heard of freespace or grim fandango
 
Ive also got COD4 warfare... its different but there kinda is a plot... but the game is Nice... I also picked up assasins creed... not very far in it.. but looks pretty nice so far... Ill let you know if its worth picking up(If your like me.. Im usually disappointed with every game)

O yeah episode two was pretty cool, finished that
 
The best one ever is Warcraft 3 + Frozen Throne expansion, but I also liked a lot the Metal Gear Solid plot and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time trilogy's story was amazing! and also Zelda: Ocarina of TIme (n64+gamecube) was pretty awesome IMO...
 
I just picked up mass effect, game is SICK. Its from the creaters of KOTOR(the Reccomendations from many) and I would def say pick it up
 
any of the ultima games

in fact they had an on running storyline linked to "the guardian" throughout all of the titles.

Ultima 7 was probably one of the best of the lot

I haven't been able to play this one unfortunately. But, I've played Freespace 2, and holy mother of everything good and just is it awesome. Between the music, the voice acting and the plot line, 8 years later, this has still got to be my favorite game ever.
 
Pick it up, there are some framerate issues, and some bugs in the game... but its worth getting.. I like it much better than assasins creed... big letdown
 
There is a free version of freespace 2 available, it uses a Opengl graphics engine, but other than that is supposed to be the same. I didn't know it was a anything special till now though, I give it a try.
