the ones in the poll? lol

i wont vote cause the only thing i know about monitors is lower ms the better and the bigger the screen the better lol.

I won't vote because I know little to nothing about the monitors except the VX924. I'll talk a bit about that particular one though. I own this screen and there is absolutely no ghosting at all. The colors are very vibrant and beautiful. The backlight bleeds through in total darkness a little which Is common on LCD's. It comes with a digital cable also which is a bonus. I highly recommend the monitor to a gamer but before purchasing the VX924 I would suggest one looked at the VX922.

Does anybody own or know how the Acer Ferrari F-20 is. Expensive but looks like it would perform well.

?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? post this as its own thread in the laptops section, not video card section (i was a noob too, maybe yesterday, but still)

always get samsung monitor, bit expencive, but the quality is the best.

You cannot just say "always get a samsung monitor". I can list several Samsungs that are not as good as the LCD I'm using. Should I have bought them simply because they where a "Samsung"? You need to give your argument a bit more depth before posting.

i'm in the market for a gaming monitor as well.

the only two monitors that i've really even debated between are the vx924 and the 922. if i can get the money together for either, i'll more than likely most definitely get the 922 because of its lower refresh rates and higher contrast ratio.

my only reason for not getting either and looking elsewhere is the fact that the monitor sits so far up on the stand and my desk may not exactly be compatible with it....

see this thread here for me trying to figure out if the lack of height adjustment will bother me or not.

note: i read on a review on newegg that if you're 5'8" or taller then you won't have any problems with it, and for me if that were true i wouldn't have anything at all to worry about. but because of my desk it's a little different....

blue: could you comment on the monitor "washing out" say at the top? i'm curious if in this picture at the top of page 4 in the below link is simply a glare or if it is the monitor..

It is the picture. I had the flash on my camera on and you see it in that picture hitting the monitor and washing it out a bit (never said I was a photographer) :).
