best i7 cpu at stock?

Just overclock your vishera, they are pretty ok for gaming and multithreaded though!
And it's too much money that you need to spend getting an i7 + new mobo.
Just get a cooler and oc your vishera a bit to like 4.5ghz and it will be good enough.
Btw, it beats the i7 3770k in some multithreaded apps :D.
In games you'll receive a bit more fps. But your gpu will stay the most important part.

Im going to be buying a i7 3770k and a z77 gigabyte mobo with pci e 3.0 since my mobo only has 2.1 I know the difference in fps is barely any but I want all I can get haha.. may be a waste of money.. but I got money to waste atm, i'm going to buy a whole new case and psu/ram/hdd so I can put my vishera and my old hd 6950 back in it and then i'll overclock it.

With the 3770k @ stock compared to my vishera @ stock I will likely get a 10-20fps increase i've noticed from viewing other peoples streams that play the same game as me and watching there FPS

It will be max 10 fps.
And yeah, YOU WILL OC!!! xD

Actually a number of games get a huge boost from the i series over fx, but will you see any difference? Not really since you should have 60+ already

It's quite sad how much money I'm spending just to be able to run Smite at max settings and a steady 60+ fps..

But no joke.. this game I'm still running on Low settings with a GTX 670 and a Vishera, because if I don't in bigger battles my fps goes below 60, and it bothers me.

I have a feeling even with the I7 3770k, I still will have to run this game on low settings, (especially while streaming) to not go under 60 fps, but we will see.

why spend so much on a F2P game? and if you want a guarenteed good frame rate, you can grab a 3930k, x79 mobo, and a second 670

I don't know how it works but apparantly this game doesn't support dual gpus according to my friend and according to the 3930k http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/551?vs=552 I don't believe it's worth it, I mean.. I have money to blow but I don't want to blow much more then 500$ :P

also this F2P game is the game I play the most and I've been playing it really competitively ever since it came out and I may be getting sponsored and he told me that the contract I would recieve would be forcing me to stream my gameplay.

It must be really poorly optimised game if it will only play on low with a GTX 670. That, or something else on your system is making it run slower than it should.

Can't be that much friend. The benchmarks give their words against it...
Try out my bench with it at stock, to see how much power you gained.
