Best Internet Computer Store

I've used newegg.com for quite some time now but I wonder if there is anything bigger and better out there (especially after the MAJOR hike in newegg's shipping prices across the board). What do you think is the best site out there for good computer parts and good customer service?

zipzoomfly.com has some good deals but i would stil stick with newegg. everything about them is quality.

For stores in the UK, I would definately back www.microdirect.co.uk and www.dabs.com. I really shop with any other because I know theses store have everything I could need. There is however another store that is also good (I forgot) for computer cables, cases, screwdrivers spare parts and other stuff like that www.maplin.co.uk.

i think most computer stores & companies (i.e Mesh computers/dabs computers) do build computers according to your preferences.

I live in the US so I would want something stateside and probably not Canada because of high shipping and import charges.

Well I mean I loved newegg but their shipping is out of control! $40+ for a graphics card and a computer case shipped to New Hampshire through UPS? Thats just silly. I remember when it used to be $12-16 for the same order under FedEx which is a better carrier anyway. I don't want to give away my life savings to shipping to make up for the low prices they report to consumers.


Oh and Tigerdirect is almost as bad with shipping in regards to timeliness. There have been several instances where I ordered a product that was supposed to be in stock and had to call Tigerdirect a week later wondering why my package hadn't shipped yet and they would tell me that the item was out of stock in their warehouses and should come in a few days then they could ship it out to me. Thats happened twice and I don't use them anymore.
