Im looking to buy flight simulator X this week and a joystick but im not sure which would be the best joystick for under £50?

Is anyone into flight simulators and can recommend me a joystick? Ideally i would like to have the throttle sliders on the joystick.

Thanks!

I am not very knowledgable about the subject of joysticks, but I can recommend you one...

But first, what do you mean by "throttle slider"? Are you meaning the kind that is seperate from the joystick, and is a handle you slide forward and backward? Or do you just mean something on the base of the joystick that you can slide, rather than using buttons?

If it is the latter of the two, I can recommend the Logitech Force3DPro. I own one, but haven't used it a huge amount... I bought it just before I sorta stopped playing flight sims, so I haven't gotten many hours in on it. Anyway, I like it... Then again I haven't had much contact with other joysticks, so I don't really have anything to compare it to :) But yea, it's force feedback, and costs like $60. They also make (or made... not sure if they're still in production) on called Extreme 3D Pro, which is basically a non-force-feedback version for about $40 less.

yeah the handle you slide forward and backwards, id like to have that built into the joystick, and thanks for the reply ill check the force3d and the extreme out!

Not sure weather youve found one but the t flight hotas x is good. I think its only 20 pound or so used on cex. Thats where i got mine.

Other than that the cybborg fly 5 is alright and should be in your budget.

You could also scout gumtree and ebay for a used saitek x45 or x52.

The logitech 3d one (not sure of full name) is supposed to be ok, but it doesnt have a hotas design.

The t flight has actually gone down since i bought it :P

£15 with 3 quid shipping i think.

If you can setlle not having hotas the most accurate out there in your buget would probably be the T.16000M by thrustmaster. IIrc it has a special tech in it that is used in higher end hotas's like the warthog replica. Iv not had experience with it but it hailed as one of the most accurate joysticks sub £100
