Best mobo for a 960T (BE)

Hi, i have a Phenom 2 im hoping to unlock to 6 cores what boards should i be looking at? ASUS and Gigabyte seem to come up alot! What are the main differences?

I would probably get a Gigabyte GA 970A UD3P.

...the Asus M5A99X EVO is really popular, and it seems to have better specs?

That is the UD3 board. The one I listed is the UD3P. A better 970 board. The Asus M5A99X EVO is a 990X board. If you want a 990 board go for the Gigabyte GA 990FXA UD3. Its a full 990FX chipset. If you decide to run CF or SLI it has 2 full X16 slots.
