Just bought;
AMD Athlon XP3200+ Socket A 512 L2 Cache Barton CPU
2 x Crucial 512mb DDR 333MHz PC2700 Memory Module

MOBO next...

Looking for;
Decent sound quality (Im a musician)
at least 4x USB 2.0
8xAGP
Average 10/100 Network capabilities
ABOVE ALL; sexy specs for gaming!!!

I have looked around for ages, but am always confused by wierd details I had deemed irrelevant, or by reviews saying the hardware is not reliable... I would love a professional opinion!

Oh, and incase you wanted a price range; Im not really worried, but I wouldnt want to go over £60 - £70, if possible.

Theres still some good SocketA NF2 mobos out there such as the A7N8X-E with onboard Gigabit & Soundstorm 5.1 sound.
(Abit or Asus is my preference)

But you should have bought PC3200 memory modules.

The A7N8X-E DLX and NF7-S2 are superb boards ... not a big fan of that MSI board myself (nor that series) :) There are also a few kickass EPOX boards too
