Being a real "noob" about these things, I recently discovered that I have an AGP port in my computer as well as the PCI ports I knew about. It is AGP4x. Whatever that means. What would be a good option for me when upgrading from my old video card. Nvidia GeForce4 MX 440. Ancient and bad, I know.
Are ANY current AGP cards compatible with AGP4x? If not, can someone suggest one that would be good for my system? With the "4x" listed for my computer and all. I know there are things like 8x and such.
Sorry for my simple understanding of this and thank you for you help!
If you can give me a name and number, I'll look it up.
Edit: If you responded to my previous post, thanks- discovering stuff for the win.
