Best Overall Laptop

Does anyone have any ideas for what would be the best overall laptop between $600-$800? I know that's obviously not a huge budget for a laptop, but that's what I have and if anyone had some suggestions, I'd appreciate it...
Thanks,
John

Word Proccessing, Internet Browsing, Games (Not Advanced, but less demanding of the system) and basic computing along that line...

If you can spend more around 1100, check out the Chembook 2030 / Compal FL30. A local computer shop sells these rebranded and I was so close to getting one. They are great machines and a very nice size/weight. The video card is good(FX 6200) it's intel based so it runs rather cool. battery life is good, and all the review's I've read are good.

If you want a used laptop, I'm still considering selling mine. Shoot me a PM if you might be interested. Specs below(Averatec 3270)

For that budget, I'd check out some of the Acers, HP/Compaqs, and maybe even Toshiba. Were you looking for a widescreen or normal ratio? Glossy or matte? Any other preferences?
